Machantenz Art Festival in Palmer, Alaska June 3rd. All day alcohol ink workshop.

Painting with Alcohol Inks
In the morning you will learn to mix colors and paint on non-porous surfaces.  As you become familiar with the energy of the loose and free flowing inks, you will produce abstract landscapes and vivid florals. Enjoy your creative freedom by letting go and connecting with your art spirit!  Whether abstract landscapes, floral designs, or a collage of vivid colors, your mood and intent appears as an expression of the fluid forms you create. Alcohol inks are the gateway into the festival of colors and forms that are uniquely yours.

In the afternoon session you will learn to use alcohol inks to create representational images, such as seascapes, birch trees, and Alaska animals. Line drawings and reference material will be provided for you. If you prefer, you may use your own images and drawings.  Your willingness to let go of the intent to ”produce art” allows you discover how much fun painting with alcohol inks can be.
